The large international libraries now continuously digitalise their holdings, and increasingly put more and more illustrations of complete original lute tablatures on the web. Thus, digitalised versions of a large number of printed and manuscript tablatures are also available via the internet, and at the same time an ever-growing proportion of the lute sources can be found, scanned in as old black-and-white copies as well as valuable, coloured reproductions. It is well worth searching regularly for new publications.
